fiery furnaces ‘chris michaels’
this is a song. it’s so frustrating to look around online and see all the negative things written about matthew friedberger, by fellas who probably spend most of their time talking about beer, naming their trash ‘low-fi’ band after a modern art movement, and pretending their life is a ryan mcginley photo. at the same time, its nice to know i can go see the ff, chat with matt beforehand (truly the most down-to-earth guy ever), and hear a startlingly innovative set without those sorts skulking around in the midst.
